Smart Heating Controls
These are thermostatic devices that are connected wirelessly to your heating systems. They can be controlled remotely using a smart phone, tablet or other internet connected devices. They allow greater control of your heating and can therefore help to save money on your heating bills.
First Time Central Heating
Grants are available for properties that have never had a central heating system before. If homeowners or tenants meet certain criteria then systems can be installed including boilers, radiators, pipework and heating control systems.
Air Source Heat Pumps
A system that transfers heat from outside air to water which heats your home via radiators or underfloor heating. It can also heat your hot water for showers, baths and hot taps.
Flat Roof
Installing flat roof insulation could save you similar amounts on your heating bills to loft insulation. A layer of rigid insulation board can be added either on top of the roof’s weatherproof layer or directly on top of the timber roof surface, with a new weatherproof layer on top of the insulation.
Solar PV
Solar electricity panels, also known as photovoltaics (PV), capture the sun’s energy and convert it into electricity that you can use in your home. By installing solar panels, you can generate your own renewable electricity. The Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) pays customers for renewable electricity they have generated and put into the grid. It replaces the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme.
Internal Wall Insulation
Insulating your walls could cut heating costs significantly and make the home more comfortable.
Loft Insulation
25% of heat can be lost through the roof of an uninsulated home, so insulating your loft is a great way to lower bills.
Room in Roof Insulation
A unique type of insulation system that is designed specifically for properties with rooms set into the roof space. It works by trapping heat within your home to create a blanket effect and allows you to more easily maintain a warm home without using as much energy to do so, saving you money energy bills.
Electric Storage Heaters
These heaters store thermal energy by heating up internal ceramic bricks during the night and then release heat from them to keep your home warm during the day. As electricity is more expensive than gas, storage heaters are only really cost-effective if you don’t have mains gas.

Our project results speak for themselves
House, Glasgow
This three bed semi-detached property in Glasgow was owner occupied and a project in 2022.
This property suffered from inefficient Electric Storage Heaters and panel heater that only provided poor and expensive heating. We installed an energy efficient Air Source Heat Pump system powered by Solar PV panels on the roof of the property. All the works paid for via the Government’s Green Deal (ECO4) scheme thanks to the owner being eligible for the grants.
Block of Flats, Manchester
We worked on three, two bed flats in a block in Manchester in 2022 for the landlord and his tenants.
All suffering from severe cold and damp with heating from either old inefficient storage heaters or plug in electric heaters the block also had an uninsulated flat roof.
Following our works, all three flats now benefit from a series of energy efficient products including new flat roof insulation, upgraded with new High Heat Retention Electric Storage Heaters and Solar PV. All the works paid for via the Government’s Green Deal (ECO4) scheme thanks to eligible tenants in the properties.
